Quantitative Research on Inequality and Families

Chair 03 | Prof. Dr. Josef Brüderl

Welcome to our chair!

Our research and teaching focus primarily on social inequality, characteristics of private lives, and quantitative methods.

Empirical-analytical Sociology

In our research and teaching, we adhere to the scientific approach of empirical-analytical sociology. For us, this means: meaningful data, transparent methods, and scientific findings that are verifiable by others. We therefore make our research on social inequality, climate change, and many other topics as openly accessible as possible and adhere to the FAIR principles.
