Our research is primarily based on panel data and quantitative analysis methods, including methodology. We focus mainly on the fields of family and labor market research.
We follow the scientific understanding of analytical sociology:
- Sociological theories should be formulated clearly, precisely, and with logical consistency
- Empirical research should follow the principles of critical rationalism
- Correlations discovered by empirical means are to be explained with social mechanisms
