"Introduction to Sociology" exam

The exam review will take place on February 23, 2026, starting at 10:30 a.m. at the Department of Sociology. Registration is required. Please register via email by February 17th, 2026 including your full name and student ID number.

B.A. Sociology:

• Anyone who was ill on the day of the exam, submitted a doctor's note to the Examination Office, and received approval to withdraw from the exam may participate in the repeat exam (March 23, 2026) after registering.
  
• Anyone who applied for withdrawal from the regular exam date (February 2, 2026) and received approval may participate in the repeat exam (March 23, 2026) after registering.
  
• Anyone who did not take the exam on the regular date (February 2, 2026) can only retake the exam in the winter semester 2026/27 on the regular date, provided that they still have one exam attempt remaining.
  
• Anyone who took the exam on the regular date (February 2, 2026) and failed can only retake the exam in the winter semester 2026/27 on the regular date, provided they still have one exam attempt remaining.

It is not possible to take the exam on the retake date in order to improve your grade.

Education degree program in "Politics & Society":

• Anyone who was ill on the day of the exam, submitted a doctor's note to the Examination Office, and received approval to withdraw from the exam may take the repeat exam (March 23, 2026) after registering.
  
• Anyone who applied for withdrawal from the regular exam date (February 2, 2026) and received approval may participate in the repeat exam (March 23, 2026) after registering.
  
• Anyone who did not take the exam on the regular date (February 2, 2026) can take it on the repeat date (March 23, 2026) after registering.
  
• Anyone who took the exam on the regular date (February 2, 2026) and failed can only retake the exam in the winter semester 2026/27 on the regular date, provided they still have one exam attempt remaining.

It is not possible to take the exam on the retake date in order to improve your grade.

The repeat examination will take place on March 23rd, 2026 at 10 a.m.
Registration for the repeat exam date is possible from February 26, 2026, to March 2, 2026, via LSF.
All registered students will be informed via email of the examination room.
